Present in our institutions of higher music education, music teachers cultivate mainly by higher normal colleges, higher music (art) institutions, comprehensive University College of the Arts to undertake professional name of general music education major, or music school (teacher education). After decades of exploration and development, professional curriculum gradually changing the mode of equivalent professional music education courses, and a culture music teaching ability-based curriculum model. Therefore, the construction of disciplines and courses of Music Pedagogy gradually become an important aspect of the Music Education Curriculum Reform and settings. Paper selected Chinese Universities \curriculum teacher questionnaires, statistical analysis of questionnaires and interviews with teachers and students, presents \First chapter section presents the problem of the origin of the research, study, research methods, and sort out the Music Pedagogy course of history and research status at home and abroad; Chapter II survey of universities \six aspects of statistical analysis; Chapter using the case study method, by four teachers' colleges, three music art schools, three comprehensive universities in Music Education Curriculum and Music Pedagogy course refine and analysis set to show the current characteristics of each of the three types of institutions of higher learning bear music teacher training in music education major construction, \music pedagogy course based on the folk music pedagogy course should be used as the core and foundation of the system of music education in professional courses; proposed to build a \understanding and practice, the coexistence of diverse musical culture mentality understanding in music education and curriculum development, and should be clear that explore includes local music pedagogy, music pedagogy course.
