Abstract


This article is a study on the Mid-Levels off villages ethnic identity . The Hakka Research has long enough emphasis on the integrity of Hakka culture and ethnic character description of the importance of Hakka culture is rich and varied regional differences . Although in recent years, some scholars have begun to study the specific time and space in the framework of the Hakka culture into vision , but the study sites are more concentrated in Meizhou , Minxi little attention in the tide off the border population . Chaoshan area tide off the Mid-Levels passenger border ethnic as the research object , the concern to maintain changes in the Mid-Levels passenger ethnic identity , not only for the Mid-Levels passenger a living ethnographic cases , but in a small reflection of the people's daily life practice power nature of ethnic identity construction, development and change in the snoop . The paper is divided into four main parts . First part introduces the D Village area in which Chaoshan half Hakka village distribution and D Village intermarriage , economic activities , school education level and Chaoshan ethnic interaction , to set the display space of ethnic identity , and identity is discussed below population preserve and changes are necessary to pave the way . The second part in the context of ethnic interaction and boundary flow , maintain ethnic identity from clan identity, dialect identity and customs level visits characterization . D village of ethnic identity of the third part examines the growing trend of \The fourth part is the epilogue , umbrella D village of ethnic identity construction , development and changes of power essentially summarizes the characteristics of ethnic identity , ethnic relations and local ethnic identity refraction making some preliminary discussion . This study shows that D village of ethnic identity to maintain the changes , both relating to the foundational emotion cohesion by common descent, language, customs , and also inseparable from the cultivation and promotion of ethnic consciousness changes in the development of the social scene , it is both Heli -shaped structure of the the varied modern form of D village of ethnic consciousness . Mid-levels off as Hoklo \increasingly being compressed , the Mid-Levels passenger and ethnic consciousness gradually weakening .
