Abstract


As it was more than thirty years since China held the reform and opening up policies and China has been one member of the WTO, the world economy has gradually been globalized. Chinese Family Enterprise, emerging after the reform and opening up, have held capacious developing space and faced great challenge at the same time. How will the Family Enterprise meet the challenge? How will it develop the cooperation and competition deeply within the historic opportunity of entering the WTO? How will it work out the scientific strategies suitable for itself during the process of the competing? How will it finish "the second undertaking" and transform successfully in the future, making itself a standard and highly competitive modern company? The new century and economy age have given the Family Enterprise many new requirements, which are the needs for their new development in the world economic stage. This paper, on the basis of exploring previous researches, studies systematically the formation, development and problems of Family Enterprise. By analyzing the present condition of Chinese Family Enterprise and the developing trend of world Family Enterprise, the writer make clearly the importance of the enterprise’s development strategy. A model of the development strategy of Family Enterprise, an enterprise with complete ownership and power of management, is put forward based on Chinese culture and current condition. It combines the advantages of modern companies with Family Enterprise, ensuring the balanced development of the family and their enterprise. It is hoped to further enrich the research theories and give a good reference for the development of Chinese Family Enterprise.
