Abstract

Perfluorinated compounds are a new class of persistent organic pollutants (POPs), will generate long-term, the potential harm to the environment and human health. In this study, perfluorohexyl the acid, perfluoroheptanoic acid, perfluorooctanoic acid, the perfluorochemicals the perfluorooctanoic azelaic acid, perfluorodecanoic acid, perfluorohexane sulfonate and perfluorooctane sulfonic acid as a research object. Developed an analytical method based on high-performance liquid chromatography ion trap mass spectrometry for the determination of perfluorinated compounds in sewage. Select WAX solid phase extraction column, adjust the pH of the water sample to 3, perfluorinated compounds using high-performance liquid chromatography negative ionization mode electrospray ion source ion trap mass spectrometer two full scan mode detection, with the internal standard MPFOA and MPFOS within the standard curve for quantitative analysis effectively eliminate the adverse impact of matrix effects on the ionization efficiency, high sensitivity ion trap full scan mode. Water sample detection limit of quantitation in 1-5ng / L sewage generation of recoveries MPFOA 82 ± 11%, 74 ± 8% MPFOS blank spiked recoveries between 106% -135% relative The standard deviation of the range between 7% -15% to meet the requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on trace analysis. This study were collected 6 months in Harbin, a sewage treatment plant influent, primary settling tank effluent, process water anoxic - aerobic activated sludge process and biological aerated filter process 7. The analysis indicates that the perfluoro compound, the respective processes in the total range of concentration of the perfluoro compound in between 5.4-48.5 ng / L, wherein the PFOA and PFOS are the two main perfluoro compound contaminants, the rest of the perfluoro compound concentration Average low detection rate is not high. The total perfluorinated compounds in the influent flow 7g / d, the water was 4 g / d, the perfluorochemicals the use is not in Harbin, Harbin City sewage perfluorinated compounds the residue concentration level is lower than other countries in the world and regions. The sewage treatment process for the removal of perfluorinated compounds in sewage. Primary sedimentation tank to remove part of perfluorinated compounds. A / O processes and BAF process of PFOA removal were 29.4% and 33.7%, 11.8% removal efficiency of PFOS are. The BAF process better than the A / O process of perfluorinated compounds in sewage removal efficiency, but the A / O process in the aerobic stage process of degradation of PFOA and PFOS precursors coagulant added BAF may contain PFOS and PFOA, PFOA and PFOS result in aerobic segment and strengthen the coagulation process segment concentrations increased significantly. Considering, conventional activated sludge process and biological aerated filter process, and of sewage removal of perfluorinated compounds had little effect, and may even cause the concentrations of perfluorinated compounds. Perfluorinated compounds in the wastewater treatment process changes with the seasons is not obvious, correlation analysis showed that the different sources of PFOA and PFOS.
