As technology advances , more and more large-capacity speed control system in industrial applications and provide a good opportunity , so give the development of the multi-phase motor control system . Compared with the three-phase induction motor drive system , polyphase induction motor drive system has obvious advantages in high power, high reliability , and low-voltage supply applications , however, as a new technology , multi-phase motor control in theory and practice the complexity worthy of study and discussion. This paper studies the six-phase induction motor direct torque control torque characteristics . First select the six-phase induction motor control strategy, and then analyze the impact of the six-phase induction motor torque characteristics of a number of factors , followed by finite element analysis in the case of small slip , the electromagnetic torque of the motor output . Finally matlab six-phase motor direct torque control torque characteristics of modeling and simulation . Under the direct torque control , the torque characteristics of the six-phase induction motor is basically proportional to the magnitude of the torque current . Such as the DC motor control , the torque current of the six-phase induction motor can be changed only by changing the magnitude of the torque current . Direct Torque Control under the six-phase induction motor starting torque and maximum torque , that is to say a six-phase induction motor has a good start and short-term overload capacity . But also eliminates the torque fluctuations , basically realized the constant torque start . This provides a theoretical basis for the high-performance control of the six-phase induction motor .
