During the 12th-Five-Year Plan. Three UHV AC substation and two UHVDC converter substation will be builded in Zhejiang Province. There are 1000kV Zhebei UHV transformer substation, 1000kV Zhezhong UHV transformer substation,±800 Zhexi UHVDC converter substation and±800 Ningdong UHVDC converter substation. UHVAC transformers,UHVDC converter transformers and HV shunt reactors are key equipments of UHV substation. These large-scale equipments weight are form 200 ton to 400 ton, height of them are form 4.8 m to 5.0m. In order to move These large-scale equipments form manufactory to UHV substation,they need long-distance transportation.Limits on all kinds factor,the transportation is great difficulty.In this paper, according to the 12th-Five-Year Plan of Zhejiang province. combined with highway, railway, waterway transportation policy and local society, economy, humanities environment. Research on a variety of transportation equipment, process and operation of transportation method detail analysis. Put forward to take the highway, railway, waterway transport mode of joint use, transportation route selection optimization, transportation equipment research and development, river dredging, road bridge bearing capacity analysis and reinforcement, hydraulic flat wagon loading and turning through computer simulations and a series of technical means and train of thought, to formulate a suitable mode for the UHV large-scale equipments transportation of Zhejiang province.
