Abstract


It is an age of Informatization today. The dramatic development of computer science and communication technologies has brought about both opportunities and challenges to hospital management. Hospital financial management is one of the core components of the hospital management, exerting a great influence on the development of hospitals. Consequently, It is an eventful theoretical and practical issue to reintegrate and restructure the conventional hospital financial management system with information technologies.Centered on the theme of hospital financial informatization, based on the illustration on the background of study and review on the relevant research status quo , theories , technologies, and literatures, the framework of the hospital financial management information system is presented in a detailed way following the deep analysis on the current situation of hospital financial management informatization development and the relevant problem in the process in China. Besides, the specific functional modules are also discussed here as a complement to the framework. The guarantee measures regarding the system’s implementing and the relevant evaluation methods comes at the end of this study.The major innovative fruits of the study are as follows:I. The framework of the hospital financial management information system is presented in terms of logical, physical, data flowing and data warehouse structure based on the analysis of the current situation of the hospital financial management informatization development, esp. the military hospital financial management informatization development, in China;II. The specific functional modules of the system are prospectively discussed and illustrated to a further detailed extent;III. Evaluation Methods and guarantee measures regarding the implementation of the system are also given here in a practical perspective based on the analysis of the current situations and problems in the development of hospital financial management informatization, esp. the military hospital financial management informatization
