Abstract


This article is based on the current rapid development of handheld mobile devices and the growing popularity of the macro background, from the humane care of the elderly high-tech, trying to find a rational principles, strategies designed for the elderly, as well as the relative system. The study is based on product interaction design theory as a starting point, product interaction design center, introduced the theme of the elderly behavior. And use it as a base, handheld mobile devices for the elderly on the current market conduct extensive research, and the use of inductive and comparative analysis carried out in-depth analysis of the problems of the existing equipment. Rational analysis based on preliminary to the actual product, combined with the flexible application of the theory of product interaction design, interaction design principles and strategies of handheld mobile devices for the elderly. Topic former theory about interaction design method to draw nourishment, trying to find a more effective design methods for the older age groups. This project a total of seven parts: Part I: Introduction. This section is based on early research, from the macro to grasp the research background and direction and a clear themes and objectives of the research. To develop a framework of research projects, which is the basis for follow-up studies and maternal. The second part: describes the previous research, focuses on product interaction design system factor, objectives and methodology, in order to clear the follow-up study of the theory-oriented. Part III: from an anthropological point of view to analyze the characteristics of the elderly, and as a basis to build out the behavioral characteristics of the older people in the process and product interaction. Part IV: Based on the study of the behavioral characteristics of older persons, and by the analysis of existing handheld mobile devices, summarized interactive design principle for the elderly. Part V: problem based on pre-profiling and interaction design principles proposed, analyze and summarize the interaction design countermeasures to solve their handheld mobile device interactivity missing. Part VI: design practice, interaction design for the elderly exploration and elderly phone interaction design, for example, the use of theoretical research into practice, and verify. Part VII: Summary of the results of research projects and related inadequacies, and the follow-up study to make certain outlook.
