Abstract


The thoughts on literary and art of Mao Zedong’s anti-Japanese united front which was formed under specific historical conditions was of Chinese characteristics. It was a very important part of Mao Zedong’s thoughts of new democracy theory of culture, revealed the scientific connotations of new democracy culture in all aspects, and was formed while Mao Zedong creatively applied the strategy of anti-Japanese national united front to literary and art circles and penetrated into literary creation. Its formation was a product by the integrated action of our political situation of the time、the condition of literary and art circles and Mao Zedong’s personal literary and art cultivation and the experience of directing revolutionary work on literary and art. It underwent three stages of sprout, shape and form. The content of this paper including the importance of the literary and art of anti-Japanese united front; the properties of the literary and art of anti-Japanese united front; the leadship authority of the literary and art of anti-Japanese united front and the multi-connotation of the literary and art of anti-Japanese united front. Mao Zedong’s action of introducing anti-Japanese national united front as a political route into literary and artistic field reflected his uniform view between politics and literary and art. The thoughts on literary and art of Mao Zedong’s anti-Japanese united front was an important part of Mao Zedong’s thoughts on literary and art, it had laid a solid foundation for the development of Mao Zedong’s thoughts on literary and art of War of Liberation and after founding of the People’Republic of China and provided precious experiences and important enlightenment for building well-off society in all aspects、constructing a harmonious society and bringing about the peaceful reunification of the motherland in new period.
