Trigonometric unit is a very important aspect of the basic mathematics of the secondary stage . The main purpose of this study to investigate the error type of vocational students trigonometric concepts and operations , as well as the formation of the cause of the error . This article is based on literature research , survey research , interviews and other methods . Trigonometric error type of preparation of the test volume , after formal test of the four classes in a school of 171 students in 2010 , and then summarize and select the subjects were non-standardized interviews , the study found that vocational students trigonometric concept the operational aspects of the type of error the following five : (1) the concept of angle error ; (2) the trigonometric value plus or minus error of judgment ; (3) mistaken cosine function is an odd function ; ( 4 ) triangular basic formula for computing error ; ( 5) lack of prior knowledge can lead to errors. From the students' cognitive structure , analyze the cause of the error , get : the types of errors students appeared mostly intellectual error and the main strategic error . There are five kinds of performance ( 1 ) the lack of basic concepts or formulas forgotten ; ( 2 ) the use of appropriate problem solving strategies ; (3) There is no basis for reasoning ; (4 ) neglect conditions ; ( 5 ) lack of prior knowledge . Finally, the study results trigonometric chapter in the teaching and evaluation methods , as well as the preparation of the content on the proposal , according to the characteristics of vocational students .
