Modern wireless communication systems , in order to improve the output power and the use efficiency of the system , often make the RF power amplifier working close to the saturation point , then nonlinear become very serious , so that the RF power amplifier to become a wireless communication system is the major non linear source . The RF power amplifier non - linear distortion generated in-band distortion and band distortion , the former will increase the system bit error rate , the latter due to the extension of the spectrum of the signal generating the adjacent channel interference , thereby reducing the system's bandwidth utilization . In order to avoid the occurrence of such problems , power amplifier linearization techniques commonly used to achieve high linearity and high power efficiency of the system . Many linearization techniques , digital pre- distortion technology , high efficiency, low cost , simple and easy to implement , has become a broad prospects for development of the power amplifier linearization techniques . This paper studies the RF power amplifier modeling and predistorter parameters adaptive algorithm to identify the problem . Build a power series power amplifier model no memory effect and Wiener power amplifier model with memory effect and Hammerstein power amplifier model , and NG iterative algorithm and LS / SVD ( least squares / singular value decomposition ) algorithm in MATLAB environment adaptive Hammerstein predistorter design are given , as well as using the combination of LR - linear regression algorithm and LR LMS algorithm and Wiener adaptive predistorter design are given . The initial value sensitivity for NG iterative algorithm proposed LR / NG algorithm effectively avoid the local convergence problem . Then the predistorter the simulation and comparison of performance, which memory predistorter can improve the linearity of the power amplifier up to 36dB, and verified herein constructed predistorter very good suppression of spectral regrowth . And the simulation results show that the use of the LR / NG algorithm Hammerstein adaptive predistortion can better improve the linearity of the power amplifier , and compared with other algorithms can be improved up to 10dB , thus confirming the effectiveness of the improved adaptive algorithm and reasonableness.
