Abstract

In the rapid development of globalization movement, energy security has drawn increasing attention from various countries, energy security has become an important part of a country's economic security and political security. In recent years, China's rapid economic development, while demand for energy is growing, energy security issues have become increasingly prominent, the energy shortage has become a bottleneck restricting China's rapid economic development. In order to ensure that our economy can be sustained, rapid development, China has proposed to take the road of peaceful development. Peaceful development strategy calls for stable access to foreign energy supplies in China, foreign sources of energy at reasonable prices, foreign sources of energy transport is not threatened. However, China is in the process of looking for energy, between the interests of energy producers and big energy consuming country did not coordinate misunderstanding of China's energy policy combined with a number of countries, causing some Western countries worry even boycott. Instability in energy producing countries or regions to increase the cost of foreign investment in China; increased competition among the major energy consumers, the tension of the international energy market, is the deterioration of diplomatic relations between the two sides; MidAmerican Energy consumption demand expand, causing the United States on prevention; South China Sea region are at all likely to lead to a regional war because of competition for resources; threat of maritime transport also exacerbate China's energy security instability. This series of contradictions and conflicts are the challenges of peace and development in China. China should actively respond to the issue of energy security, to take early steps to protect themselves, to resolve and avoid strategic risks that may lead to make its due contribution to world peace and prosperity. This purpose should be improved in the following aspects: to be one based on the development of domestic energy, to adjust the energy consumption structure, the development of new energy sources, establish the mechanism of energy reserves; Second, to strengthen cooperation with energy-producing countries and regions, with the major powers of the world energy consumption together deal with energy issues, pay attention to the friction may arise with countries, particularly handle the relationship with the United States, only cooperation is a win-win situation, the competition is only a lose-lose; Third, to strengthen cooperation with the International Energy mechanism, the International Energy Agency played a very important role in today's energy cooperation with multilateral energy diplomacy, China should deepen its cooperation with the International Energy Agency's global, expanding cooperation with the regional dimension of international organizations.
