Abstract


This paper attempts to affect the replacement of the key channels of investment growth by identifying local officials to enhance understanding of macroeconomic stability, growth . The findings , the local officials turnover reduced by about 1.5 percentage points makes the investment growth of the area . The 1990 officials replacement did not bring investment fluctuations , and thereafter bring significant investment fluctuations . Local officials in the eastern, central and western contrast , the eastern part of the replacement of the most prominent reduce investment growth in the year , the western region is also a significant presence of a similar phenomenon , while the central region is no such phenomenon . Finally, with respect to the secretary of terms , the turnover of local officials to the impact of investment in the governor level is more prominent . On the basis of these empirical results , this investment will be subdivided for fixed-asset investment in urban areas and rural fixed asset investment in these two sub- investment items , the replacement of these two sub- investment growth further by identifying local officials to further in-depth understanding of local officials replacement investment growth impact , thereby enhancing the turnover of local officials and macroeconomic stability, growth . Findings , the turnover of local officials to the area then urban fixed asset investment growth rate lower by about 1.8 percentage points , but the relationship with the area then rural fixed asset investment growth rate is not significant . All behind these differences reflect our specific central-local relationship and our emphasis on the promotion of economic performance indicators mechanism affecting urban fixed asset investment , and thus investment fluctuations institutional factors , thus affecting the country 's macroeconomic stability .
