Abstract


Land is the fundamental thing for human. With the development of the city, the desire for land is increase. In that process, land resource is becoming more and more scare. What’s more, the land is facing a complicated situation of unreasonable construction and low efficiency. The pressure for land is so urgent than ever.The expanding of the city will inevitably make the usage of the farm land be transformed. Also, the low efficiency will cause more occupation of the farm land. China has so many people with such limited land, and it faces with a contradiction:development or food? The mission for china at present is how to use the land more efficient with more reasonable construction. Some solutions are suggested:first of all, the mission should be guided with the notion of science-based development; the second is that make the most use of the land. After that, it is possible to leave some land resource for the descendant.This paper does some research about the efficiency of the usage of the urban land on the base of the former experts. This paper is divided into five parts. In the first part, the significance of the research on this topic is introduced. Also, the current situation of the topic research is presented. Some conceptions of the urban land usage and some fundamental theories are introduced in the second part. This part is the base of the next four parts. The third part does some quantitative analysis about the usage of the urban land. That will be the evidence about low efficiency of the land usage. In the fourth part, it will analyze how the following four factors will affect the land usage. The four factors are:policy system, economic, city planning and the technique. Some suggestions will be proposed in the fifth part on the base of the front analysis。It is believed that the fiscal and taxation system will play a more and more important role on the land usage. This paper may provide some references for the socialist economic development and make the economic system perfect.
