Abstract

Widely used of the three-dimensional ground landscape is an inevitable requirement for the development of geographic information systems industry , but the three-dimensional landscape- modeling techniques facing the three - dimensional spatial data modeling , two-dimensional model of the three-dimensional model conversion , mass storage and fast processing of three-dimensional data , three-dimensional real-time data access as well as three-dimensional space cheap , and many other issues . At this stage , how to use the three-dimensional GIS platform after conversion , the existing two-dimensional or two-dimensional semi- data to build a relatively good 3D model , supplemented by a small edit , and create a three-dimensional ground landscape scene GIS now stage of development of the urgent need to study and solve problems . Using SketchUp combine ArcGIS can quickly be used in two-dimensional geographic information system appropriate amount of data batch conversion for the corresponding three-dimensional model can model real textures and rendering operations , and use GIS software to build the complete three-dimensional model exported to generate a three-dimensional scene ; addition, the two-dimensional data and three-dimensional model of the conversion process , the effective reservation spatial location and attribute information , and provides a great convenience and the possibility of further space query and spatial analysis operations . The three-dimensional the ground landscape modeling method is proposed based on the technology for the wide range of applications of geographic information systems in the three-dimensional landscape- module provides a convenient and easy method .
