Abstract

With the development of the national economy , in the distribution network , a growing number of asynchronous motors , transformers and impact loads consume a large amount of reactive power ; transmission grid , more and more long-distance transmission system voltage bias low dynamic reactive support insufficient . How to guarantee the quality of the power supply , the security of the power grid operation , reliability and economy become the focus in the power system studies . To improve grid transmission capacity and stability of the most effective means of reactive power compensation with the consumption of grid load is parallel reactive compensation devices , static var compensator (SVC) is currently the most widely used reactive power compensation one of the devices . One of the important characteristics of impact SVC SVC various characteristics of dynamic reactive power compensation is the the SVC response time characteristics of the Institute less see ref . The article unfolds response time characteristics of FC-TCR SVC , SVC electromagnetic transient model simulation analysis and statistical analysis to determine the response time of the SVC , to clarify a the SVC response time long-term chaos concept . Transient current source model for electromagnetic transient analysis of SVC SVC response time analysis for electromechanical transient the SVC current source phasor model , simplified mathematical model of SVC . The use of the established SVC instantaneous current source model to study the effect of SVC for shock load compensation , given the optimal control strategy ; take advantage of the establishment of the the SVC current source phasor model to study the effect of SVC to improve voltage stability of the China Southern Power Grid appropriate control strategies .
