Abstract


In histoty ,to be called“surname Türks”of the Türgesh tribe in fact ,It is subordinated in politics and gives loyalty to orthodox Ashina Turkic tribe. In the ethnic constitution ,It is the local Indo-European resident who integrates the Turkization process. The Türgesh Khanate can be divided into the early period of Wu-chih-lē、Sakal and later period of Suluk . This article based on the collation and analysis of relevant historical materials, With the previous research . has made the discussion with the prosperity and decline history of The Türgesh Khanate and the surrounding political force relations. Thought that because the period of Wu-chih-lē,the khanate in the newly established development phase, It is not enough active in the peripheral various political influence’s contact. To the period of Suluk, the Türgesh Khanate powerfully for a while, It has taken place in the active multilateral relations with the surrounding political forces. Which included the political forces of the Tang Dynasty, Tibet, Arab and so on. They were competing in Central Asia. Between Suluk and Tang Dynasty has one kind of special official under the emperor relations, That is , while the official under the emperor in Tang Dynasty’s, Suluk maintains a certain degree of self-independence. This kind of vassal relationship establishes in both sides power balance above the foundation, once the influence is unbalanced, The friendly relationship of Suluk and Tang Dynasty will rupture. AD 734, the Suluk competes in Central Asia to win the Arab., the influence of the Khanate reached its peak, the two sides of the balance of power was broken. Suluk breaks up friendly relations with the Tang Dynasty, the Tang also changed tactics and decided to exterminate the Suluk regime. The regine of Suluk in Tang Dynasty and Arab under attack shattered.in AD 738. After the khanate is disillusioned, The Sar?? Türgesh and Qara Türgesh have the conflict because of the Khan’s position. Their infiuence decline day by day. Finally they integrate into the newly emerging political forces .
