Abstract


China is a mulnational country. Ethnic issues are the fundamental realities of the country. How to deal with ethnic issues in China, achieving ethnic equality, unity, prosperity and progress is the the important theoretical and practical issues for Communist Party of China all along. Communist Party of China collective leadership have made hard exploration on this in different historical periods, combining the fundamental theories of Marxism with the social and ethnic realities in China, and set up,formulated and developed a series of guiding principles and policies, leading people of all nationalities to a way of correct action of solving ethnic problems in China with Chinese characteristics and China thus become the model in the world for successfully solving ethnic problems. New central collective leadership centered on General Secretary Hu Jintao carry on and persist in Marxist ethnotheory,achieving the advance and innovation of Communist Party of China ethnotheory,propose a series of new ideas, new viewpoints and new thesis; both in the aspects of theory and practice as well as policy etc., Marxist ethnotheory and ethnotheory in socialism have been greatly improved. Therefore, it’s of guidance and reality for accelerating the development of ethnic minorities and minority areas and for constructing harmonious society under the leardership of Communist Party of China to correctly understand and learn the development and breakthrough of the Communist Party of China ethnotheory at this stage.My paper consists of 4 parts:Part 1. Explain the background, significance, research methods and the current situation on Communist Party of China ethnotheory research.Part 2. Systematic exposition on the the theory development of ethnic concept, ethnic relations and ethnic problems in the Communist Party of China basic ethnotheories since 16th National People’s Congress.Part 3. Carry on the thoughts about ethnic problems theory in the previous part. From the aspects of basic principle and methods of solving ethnic problems,answer the question of persist in the guiding ideology of socialism theory with Chinese characteristics.Part 4. Expound on ethnic equality, ethnic unity, ethnic autonomy and new ideas of ethnic development in the new perspective of Communist Party of China ethnotheory pioneering the prosperous development of all nationalities.
