Abstract

With the extensive development of distance education network, the quality of teaching has caused widespread concern in the community. Learning evaluation is an effective online teaching method to ensure quality. The lack of face to face teaching in learning process makes it difficult for teachers to focus on students learning process. Study evaluation,as a kind of methods to promote learning, especially the process evaluation emphasizing the monitoring of study process, becomes effective to ensure the network teaching quality. Therefore, the process evaluation of students learning has been a main method of the current learning evaluation.The paper focus on elements of the process evaluation for network, then designs and develops a network learning platform for evaluation process with the network courses embedded.Firstly, he paper nalyses the research situation of process evaluation at home and abroad from literature review, points out some problems in domestic research at present. Second, the concepts, tools, content, processes and senses of process revaluation for network are summarized and analyzed. In accordance with what has been explained above, the paper leads to one of the highlights of the research, the index of process evaluation. Based on the evaluation methods, under the guidance of design principles in the evaluation, the paper analyzes the learner’s learning process behaviors, and designs evaluation questionnaires for teachers and students through the evaluation case studies. At last, on the bases of comparing and analysing this study,it sums up an index system for process evaluation in network learning .Based on the analysis of the characteristics of the process evaluation, the paper introduces the fuzzy evaluation method, builds a fuzzy evaluation model about process evaluation of network learning. Under this fuzzy evaluation model and the needs of learning platform, the author relies on e-learning portfolio, then designs and develops the Network learning platform for process evaluation. The platform, which focusing on the content and structure of“distance education”course, especially makes the tracking and evaluating of students’typical behavior in learning process.
