Abstract


With the mobile phone functionality and performance improved significantly, people on the growing demand for customized mobile phone interface strongly. Features designed to meet the user interface as the mobile phone industry is another hot competition.In this paper, the background is based on Qualcomm’s BREW (Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless) platform for customized mobile phone project. Using BUIW (BREW UI Widget) development tools to reconstruction the SMS module interface, realized the separation of application and interface, enhance the code reusability. Main design and implementation of the interface module associated with the message of five modules: coordinate setting, theme configuration, interface jump control, pop-up list of common interface, new messages and other custom interfaces. Especially, to realize new news interface imitation nokia number input effect, extended text input control increase setting function.To ensure the software quality, in the simulation and real hardware contrast test cases for each interface basic function test and analysis of test results.Test result shows that this design can meet the demand, stable operation on mobile phones.
