Abstract


With the development of technology, the virtual machine and cluster technology have been widely used in data centers. Cluster technology is designed to improve resource utilization and service reliability, reduce data center maintenance costs and failure rates. This thesis implements a cluster node management system, a low-level subsystem of the cluster virtualization management system, which provides node support for the upper-level system in service management, storage management and virtual machine management.This thesis first analyzes the functional requirements of the system, then design and implements a nodes management system, which is based on open source cluster framework OpenAIS. This thesis gives the definition of different modules and message communication between the modules, as well as the hierarchical design of the system according to the hierarchical, modular design concept. The system consists of configuration management module and nodestate management module. The two modules take responsibility for management of file configuration and nodes status respectively. Finally there is a test, which shows this node management system enables the functional requirements and design requirements.
