The research and development of automotive collision avoidance radar is an effective way to address the increasing highway traffic accidents , domestic automotive collision avoidance radar development is still in the theoretical research and experimental commissioning phase . The signal processing system is the core of the anti-collision radar systems with technical difficulties , far-reaching in its in-depth research and development . In this paper, the actual project , a sawtooth FMCW system automotive collision avoidance radar signal processing system works and engineering method and system debugging and field experiments . Principle analysis , focus sawtooth FMCW signal processing principles as well as the distance Doppler processing method ; engineering aspects of the first signal processing systems the FPGA DSP hardware architecture described analysis of the major technical parameters of the device in the hardware system selection criteria on the part of the circuit schematic design results the critical circuit signal integrity simulation using Cadence software designed to complete the signal processing PCB board ; FPGA and DSP software design software design focus on the signal processing system , FPGA and DSP different functions divided FPGA main module and the DSP main algorithm program of ideological functions such as introduction and complete the FPGA timing simulation and DSP algorithm simulation ; signal processing system hard software debugging and field experiments the content of the important work of the project , the paper analyzes the process and the result of system debugging , the main conclusions of the last foreign field experiment described .
