Inner-party democracy is an important part in a party politics. Its development has direct influence on a party’s political vitality and its position in a country’s political life. It reveals us that, to carry out all activities and to build a system, we should transfer to respect the human subject and the realization of human subjectivity. The development of political civilization is after all people’s own progress and development. Today, to examine the construction of inner-party democracy from the perspective of members’subjectivity helps us to accurately grasp the value orientation of inner-party democracy and to understand the problems and contradictions in practice. And the level of party members’ subjectivity is an important yardstick of the development of inner-party democracy. Chapter 3 points out the reality of the lack of subjectivity in inner-party democracy. An analysis of the cause to it is also included. In Chapter 4, the basic path is demonstrated to construct inner-party democracy under the dimension of party members’ subjectivity. It is proposed that a democratic system be built to respect the dominant position of party members, a strengthened inner-party cultural education be set to subject-consciousness oriented, and a new environment be created to stimulate initiative subjectivity. In the next chapter, the practical significance of constructing inner-party democracy under the dimension of subjectivity is elaborated.
