Abstract


Fixed Asset Management System plays an important role in the enterprise and department. It is an enterprise units for the. Policy makers and managers are of great importance. Therefore, fixed asset management system should be able to provide users with sufficient information and efficient means of inquiry. But there has been the use of traditional artificial approach in the management of fixed assets information. This mode of administration, there are many drawbacks, such as: low efficiency, poor security, the other over the long term. It will have a lot of documents and data, which identify, update and maintenance caused a lot of difficulties.To meet the managerial needs of fixed assets, this thesis is on the basic of computer networks and database technology designs and develops a set of automated fixed asset management system. The thesis subject employs the object-oriented programming ideas, and utilizes the Microsoft Corporation .NET development platform and C/S mode for automated fixed assets management system. In developing this system, the author with the expertise adopts the fountain model and multi-tier architecture, and refers to the Visual Studio 2005 visual programming tool. Through analysis of the needs, system design, detailed design and system testing, the research finally achieved the expected design goal.The proposed Fixed Asset Management System consists of five subsystems: asset management, basic data setting, asset inventory, system reports, Low Consumable Goods management and system management. A unified modeling technique is applied to the system was specification analysis and design to improve software platform and software platform cross-system interoperability and shorten the development cycle, reducing the latter part of the maintenance workload.This thesis proposed fixed asset management system realized the information management of fixed assets with the function of querying, browsing, editing, deleting and calculating fixed assets of this unit. Finally, an objective evaluation of the system is made by carrying out an all-round system testing.
