With reform of the urban housing system,the high prices has been overheated since 2009, but the rapid urbanization process has brought new problems: new graduate students, migrant workers and other "social sandwich layer" still in the "nothing to live home" . This social reality also attracted the attention of our Government, Housing and Urban Construction Departmentjointly developed a "speed up the development of public rental guidance" document in June 12, 2010, which to promote throughout the construction of public rental and solve the housing of "social sandwich layer". In addition, high energy consumption, high pollution during the building construction process was still significant. Therefore, in order to achieve the healthy development of public rental housing, It is significant to study sustainability indicators of public rental housing.Firstly on the basis of the theory at home and abroad, the paper analyzed the impact factors for sustainable development of public rental housing, then built the sustainability evaluation system, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to construct sustainable evaluation model of public rental housing; Take the "popular Garden" of Chongqing as an research example, the paper verified the feasibility and effectiveness of index system and the evaluation model of public rental housing; Finally, Finally, the paper analyzed evaluation results, pointed out problems in the construction of public rental housing and put forward some suggestions.The paper built sustainable index system and evaluation model ,enrich the evaluation system of public rental housing, provided a reference to the future construction of public rental housing, promoted better development of public rental housing. These have certain theoretical meaning and practical value.
