New-type industrialization is a new idea proposed to develop the current industrialization of our country, it takes developing and making full use of the human and natural resources, increasing use ratio of resources and reducing environmental pollution as the priciples, informatization, technology and innovation as the means, in order to achieve the goal of development. The development of new-type industrialization can increase employment, improve the employee’s quality, strengthen recycling of resources, improve the quality of living environment, and so on which could increase the level of social development. This article takes the relationship between new-type industrialization and social welfare as the starting point, using the theory of regional economics, industry economics, welfare economics, cycle economics and other related subjects. From the industry itself to combine new-type of industrialization and social welfare in Guangxi, this paper establishes the relationship between Guangxi new-type industrialization and social welfare. Besides, with the help of empirical study, the relationship between Guangxi new-type industrialization and social welfare has been studied again, putting forward directions and new ideas to the development of the focal point, key areas and countermeasures of the new-type industrialization in order to promote social welfare.The contents of this paper are as follows.Firstly, define the content new-type industrialization, welfare and social welfare respectively and their characteristics, through the relevant definition to the concept of new-type industrialization, the paper analyses the influence on social welfare. Secondly, establish a new index system of new-type industrialization and social welfare comprehensive evaluation, draw the comprehensive degree between new-type industrialization and social welfare in Guangxi, thirdly, create the index system of new-type industrialization in Guangxi and the model between individual index and social welfare, making analysis and summary. Finally, an empirical analysis from the angle to promote the development of social warefare puts foward new ideas to the focus and key areas of Guangxi new-type industrialization and countermeasures from the aspects of labor, capital, science and environment.
