Abstract


Of a country’s technology development strategy, enable us to more fully understand the situation of a country’s technological development and the associated political, cultural, economic, historical, educational and other information. Indonesia is a close neighbor of China, but also with the Department of East Asian economic circle, closer ties between the two countries in recent years, technological, economic and other aspects of deepening exchanges and cooperation, research and technology development strategy in Indonesia has practical significance.This paper describes three periods, respectively, after the founding of Indonesia’s technological development of the change in strategy. Sukarno era, Indonesia’s technological level is very low, scientific and technical personnel is extremely scarce, and attitude of Western powers hostile to the Government of Indonesia can only be self-reliant development of science and technology, to develop their own talents, to address the extreme shortage of materials at domestic issues. Suharto period, due to improvement of the environment, the government vigorously introducing foreign technology and funds to develop its own technology, has established a scientific research system, there have been rapid in the high-tech development. Housuhatuo period, the Government of Indonesia based on the actual situation of domestic technology development to continue vigorously the introduction, digestion and absorption of foreign technology, with foreign counterparts to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, the official domestic universities and research institutes to strengthen research, to be integrated innovation. Indonesia’s level of technology can be greatly improved, technology products more competitive in the international market continue to strengthen. Indonesia concluded a development strategy in science and technology achievements and shortcomings.
