Abstract


The thesis focus on the feature of development of "the old city of Kunming" by using the quantitative way and qualitative way of analysis, such as space syntactic quantitative analysis, literature research method, case study, on-site observation analysis. According to the collected data, almost all the literature about Kunming city space used the qualitative analysis way. Space syntax used in this thesis can quantitatively analyze the evolution routine of Kunming city space, which makes the coclusion be more reliable and intuitive and also make the suggestion be more specific.The thesis is organized as follows:The first part including the second and third chapter is the theory analysis, which focus on the relative theories and methods about space syntax. The fourth and fifth chapter analyze the whole street of Kunming city and the old city of Kunming and the Wenming street of history street district in the way of syntax syntax by the indicator and method and the theory.Through a combination of theoretical and empirical analysis, we get some conclusions, main of them are as follows:1.The center of Kunming city space was expanding as the Integrated Nuclea grows.The city space forms new Integrated Nuclea center and sub-center of circular road and And "windmill" Integrated Nuclear main center, named three network structure systerm.2. Kunming road develops as the model of "grid"+"radial" road network model.3. Using the current syntactic analysis on the Historical city of Kunming, it is found that:the streets of the Young Road, Golden Road, Zhengyi way, Weiyuan Street, Guanghua Street, Renmin Road, East Temple Street have a relatively high degree of integration. And found that the coupling degree is high when coupling the road integrated degree with center attraction factors.But part of the potential growth centers of integration is difficult to play, the street feature sub-space location to attract conversion lags, mainly because of the center attraction factors of Weiyuan Street West and the East Temple Street, Guanghua Stree can not go along with the status of integrated degree of the own roadAbove all, some specific conclusions and targeted suggestions are given in the thesis.Because of the default of the syntax space and the limit of the sample in empirical study, more effort may be paid on the improvement of the method and the enlarging of the sample range.
