North China Plain is an important grain producing areas for agricultural production in the region by excessive nitrogen fertilizer nitrogen prevalent problem of low utilization, as well as the experimental field trials using a combination of indoor laboratory analysis method to study the sulfur coated and resin coated urea on the North China Plain corn farmland soil ammonia volatilization, nitrogen and nitrogen balance and utilization of residual impact of research, promotion and application of controlled release urea and sustainable development and to guide agricultural production to provide scientific theories and practical basis. The main results are as follows: 1. Release urea can effectively reduce ammonia volatilization losses of soil, compared with the ordinary urea treatment to reduce ammonia volatilization from soil during the growing corn cumulative volume of 6.51-9.92 kg · hm -2 sup> ; reduce soil ammonia volatilization flux peak ammonia volatilization from soil and can delay the time of the main phase of 4-5 d; reduce ammonia volatilization flux period (67d) and soil ammonia volatilization rate was 0.09-0.15 kg · hm < sup> -2 sup> · d -1 sup>, 2.65% -3.33%; resin coated urea and ammonia volatilization losses reduce soil is better than the sulfur-coated urea treatment. 2 released urea nitrogen to reduce the potential deep soil leaching losses. Release urea \3 controlled release urea application can effectively maintain the corn growing period topsoil inorganic nitrogen (NH 4 sup>-N, NO 3 - sup>-N) content level is conducive to maintaining the fertility of soil nitrogen levels, which is superior to the sulfur coated urea resin coated urea. 4 controlled release properties of controlled release urea promote corn growing, effectively improve the yield of the material basis of improved maize grain quality and enhance nitrogen utilization. Compared with common urea and controlled release urea application to make corn yield 14.61% -37.50%, increased nitrogen use efficiency and agronomic efficiency were able to achieve 12.38% -2 sup> 0.87%, 4.79% -9.38 %, reduce dependency of soil nitrogen was 8.87% -1 sup> 3.58%, wherein the resin coated urea fertilizer effect of the highest contribution rate. 5 soil for maize growth period - crop system nitrogen balance calculations indicate that release urea nitrogen use efficiency can be improved effectively reduce corn harvest residue in the soil inorganic nitrogen, reducing nitrogen loss, compared with conventional urea ratio, carry out a significant increase in crop nitrogen, up to 6.83% -2 sup> 7.39%, lower apparent N losses 4.59-43.84 kg · hm -2 sup>. Release urea has a high ecological effects and application value.
