Objective: the LDH is a common disease and multiple disease of the spine. the Minimally invasive surgery is a good treatment for the LDH so it becomes the reserch focus today. the study depend on the VAS criteria and the modifiedMacnab criteria (before operation,after operation 1 week,1month,3months,6months and 12months) of Percutaneous Plasma Sword and Ozone combine for LDH to investigate the curative effect Percutaneous Plasma Sword and Ozone Combine.Methods: the research include 48 patients and the 40 patients Diagnosis LDH by CT and MRI .The patients treated by Percutaneous Plasma Sword and Ozone.Investigate curative effect after operation with VAS criteria and the modifiedMacnab criteria for 1 week , 1 month , 3 months , 6 months and 12 months.Statistical analysis was executed by SPSS 16.0software.The enumeration data ofgroups were compared using Repeated measures analysis of variance,significantlevel=0.05.Result:The VAS criteria : before operation was 8.3±0.5, after operation 1 week was 2.4±0.4 , 1 month was 1.9±0.4 , 3 months was 1.4±0.2 , 6 months was0.8±0.2, 12 months was0.7±0.2. Compared the VAS criteria of before operation, after operation 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months by the Repeated measures analysis of variance. The tests of within-subjects effects showthe approx chi-square is 199.09 P≤0.05, so we analyze the data by the Greenhouse-Geisser, F=329.457, P≤0.05. Compared every group by the Bonferroni methods. It shows that it has Differences between before operation and after operation P≤0.05 ,and except after operation 6 months and 12 months every groups have the differences also.The modified Macnab criteria: after operation 1 week was 79.2%, 1 monthwas 83.3% , 3 months was 91.6% , 6 months was 93.7% and 12 months was93.7%.Conclusion:the Percutaneous Plasma Sword and Ozone Combine is effective for LDH
