Abstract


Since reform and opening social strata in contemporary China has undergone profound changes, the Chinese Communist Party understands changes in class basis and mass basis as the ruling party, this is premise-based for constantly consolidating the party’s basic. Particularly in the wake of the continuous development of China’s economic reform and urbanization , the speed of industrialization and market-oriented process brings a more sophisticated professional division, the difference that different groups of people share the economic resources, political, and cultural resources is bigger. The two classes before the reform the working class and peasant class undergone significant internal differentiation, while also gradually emerging social classes are growing up. Among all levels of social, economic, lifestyle and the differences about interests, has effected relatively sharp conflict of interests, this implied or actual caused social conflicts, this brings a very real Challenges for consolidating the power base of our party.Meanwhile, Various social strata share the fruits of reform and development differently, The evaluation to the ruling is also different. The study of the changes of Chinese social class and development trend is of great practical significance for strengthening the Party’s governance capability, consolidate the party’s base, building Harmonious society.This article starts from the basic theories of social class, it researches and analyses the changes and causes of the social strata in China since reform and opening up,it analyses the situation and challenges faced by the class basis and mass basis of the ruling party need to consolidate. This article is divided into four parts, the first chapter of the issues is expounding on current research, research methods and practical significance of the question ; telling us concepts of social rank and ruling foundation and expounds the relation between them, the second chapter researches changes of social strata since reform and opening in China, including current social class structure of present status and analysis on causes of change, the third chapter talks about positive effects and negative effects brought by social stratum change on the party’s ruling foundation, this article analyse the opportunities and challenge from class foundation and mass base faced by our party from a dialectical point of view, the fourth chapter tell us to strengthen the party’s ruling foundation path thinking with this opportunity and challenge. This paper insist on using the Marxism theory to research and the analyse question, as the 17th congress report, over the past five years the biggest achievement is to "open up new realm of sinicization of Marxism;" In the new period the most prominent mark is advancing with The Times, and embodying in thought is "constantly advancing" chinalization of Maxism" In the face of the objective situation in China’s current social class’s difference between interests, differentiation, adjustment, flow, the reorganization, after careful analysis on social development function and the future development trends in further of China’s position of each class , clarifying the relationship the party and the Chinese social strata, all this displays function for consolidating the "worker-peasant alliance", establishing strata widely cooperating and coordinating the development of mass base, and keep the party the ruling party’s long-term status.
