Abstract


Test Anxiety is one of the emotional distress that occurs most often in the students . The excessive test anxiety not only affects students' test normal level of play , but also affect the physical and mental health of students . Previous studies focused on the general test anxiety , anxiety single discipline exam little research . Research shows that students ' English test anxiety situation is not optimistic . Therefore, this study to investigate the present situation of junior high school English test anxiety , and then design a complete set of intervention programs based on the results of the survey and the results of research in the past , in order to reduce the English level of test anxiety . This study first the concept of the English test anxiety , influencing factors , a literature review of the impact on students and intervention strategies . Then the Henan Province pingyu 350 junior high school students the survey results show that 32.3 % of the students there are more than moderate anxiety phenomenon , where the highest average level of anxiety to the ninth grade . So select two parallel classes in the ninth grade experimental group - the control group pretest-posttest experimental intervention study . Intervention programs designed primarily to group counseling , the use of adjusted unreasonable awareness , positive self-suggestion , relaxation training , learning strategies and methods of counseling interventions , in addition to the use of external factors on the form of the parents will not affect the examination anxiety intervention . The experimental group made ??a total of 7 interventions , results showed that the experimental group after the intervention English test anxiety scores lower than before the experiment and the difference is obvious ; compared with the control group , the same decreased and the difference is very significant . Counseling for junior high school English test anxiety intervention effect , can effectively relieve the junior high school English test anxiety symptoms , so as to promote the healthy development of their physical and mental .
