Abstract


Audience research as an important branch of journalism and communication studies , great development in mainland China in recent years has also become the focus of the study , as a special group of rural audience . The study focused on Media Contact and vector-borne effect for emerging media literacy research , few rural audience as the research object , the rural audience, media information processing capacity is not . Rural audience , media information processing capacity is related to the rural audience can not and to what extent to use his cognitive abilities and reflective awareness , expand their own analysis and judgment of the media access to information , as well as the extent to which effective use of media information services for its own production and life . So , we must pay attention to the rural audience , media literacy education , and actively carry out the information processing capacity in order to improve media -based media literacy education . This paper attempts to answer the problem : how the basic status of the rural audience , media information processing capacity ? Audience of individuals placed in the broader social background investigated what factors contribute to this situation of the rural audience, media information processing capacity ? On this basis, propose appropriate measures in order to improve the rural audience , media information processing capacity .
