Abstract


With the widespread use of Web applications, the amount of data and user visits increasing, the system gradually slow to react, and even the phenomenon of denial of service, so companies increasingly high performance requirements of the system. How to evaluate system performance, look for performance bottlenecks and optimize the system to become a topic of concern of developers and users. Performance testing is an important means to ensure software quality evaluation system performance. System architecture based on Web applications, analyze the factors that affect Web system performance, including hardware / software allocation of resources, network environment, database systems, middleware, application structure design. Typically, when a system relying on performance indicators data metric system performance, many performance indicators of system performance testing concern, including server performance indicators database performance indicators, network performance indicators. How to filter performance test indicators are problems to be solved during performance testing. This paper summarizes the various performance indicators, combined with the system architecture, application system type, performance testing objectives, proposed the establishment of a performance evaluation index system. In view of the current design description of the performance model of the test scene less one kind of P-TIM-R performance test model, a tester to perform the performance test. Based on performance during the test run the test, the P-TIM-R performance test model focused on the design of the test scenarios, combined with elements of performance test objectives, performance indicators and test methods, the user operation behavior to create a test scene. System tuning, perform regression testing to verify that the system is to optimize the effectiveness of the measures. On the basis of research performance test model, and finally summed up the concrete steps of the performance test execution. In this paper, two cases illustrates the steps of the implementation of the performance test. A city population information management system compliance from the performance verification test angle measure system performance meets user requirements. \Two cases from different angles to verify the performance evaluation index system testing process to establish the validity of the method, based on the design of the P-TIM-R performance test model test scenarios, with LoadRunner testing tool to perform performance testing, through the collection and analysis performance indicator data to effectively assess the performance of Web-based applications.
