Abstract


Iris recognition technology is a physiological characteristics of the human iris - based biometric identification technology , compared to the feature recognition of the voice , face , palm prints , fingerprints , iris stability , uniqueness , non-invasive , high recognition rate advantage of iris recognition technology has become important to the identification of one of the research areas . In this paper, some of the key issues for the iris recognition technology and its application in medical information management system . First , according to the division of the various stages of iris recognition , in-depth analysis and comparison of each stage of the algorithm . In the the iris acquisition phase , iris acquisition instrument for iris image filtering processing to achieve the effect of reducing the amount of data of the follow-up operation ; iris localization stage the canny operator in conjunction with the gray projection wears well completed positioning a good positioning of the inner and outer boundaries of the iris image ; iris image , normalized to achieve the completion of a polar coordinate transformation method and normalized image enhanced by histogram equalization ; completion of the feature extraction stage the filtering algorithm using 2D Gobar iris feature value extraction and encoding ; finally realize the Hamming distance algorithm for pattern matching the iris image encoded . Followed by in -depth study of medical information management application status, clear the security problems faced by the medical information management system , the development of medical information management system for the application of iris recognition technology . The system realizes the iris feature - based user authentication , medical information management , user management and system management functions . Concrete realization of the system module , system integration , integration testing and tests prove that the contents of the study of this subject is feasible .
