Abstract

For a wireless communication system using MIMO technology, a plurality of antennas can be used in the uplink on the system a considerable diversity gain. However, due to the limitations of the hardware size, cost, and other factors, the placement of the mobile terminal a plurality of antennas has a certain hardware implementation difficulties. To solve this problem have been proposed collaboration between the multi-user diversity techniques. This paper proposes a new cooperative diversity: the coded cooperative program based on the Turbo Product Code (Turbo Product Code, TPC). First introduced cooperative diversity wireless communication background knowledge and Research, pointed out that the two single antenna users by sharing each other's antenna to form a virtual multi-antenna system, and its up to rate region, with non-collaboration mode can get a significant performance gain. Followed by a discussion of the principle of the encoding and decoding of Turbo Product Codes. From the coding perspective, Turbo product code is a product code; from the decoder's point of view, it is an extension of the Turbo code. Turbo Product Codes codec Thought on the basis of a detailed analysis of the idea of ??the Chase iterative decoding algorithm and performance on the TPC has done a lot in the AWGN channel simulation, combined with the impact factors of the simulation results of its performance were analyzed to obtain the decoding iteration number, the selection of the sub-code as well as the number of test patterns of TPC influential. Combination of existing cooperative diversity structure and Turbo Product Code technology, this article gives the Turbo product codes in coded cooperative system model, different parts of the code word, that is, after the line encoded codeword and after column encoding a codeword portion by different users of an uplink transmission to the base station, this model, when the second frame is transmitted only transmit parity bit, in order to obtain diversity gain. On this basis of the model improved the codeword transmission process, mainly the second frame transmission, the parity bit is not only the transmission, but also transmit information bits, in order to improve the reliability of transmission to resist radio channel fading impact. And verified by computer simulation, in the same system bandwidth and transmit power, compared with non-cooperative mode, this proposed coded cooperative mode can significantly improve system performance, but also to improve the program model can get better performance. Compared with the non-cooperative mode, when the bit error rate (BER) of 10 -3 , TPC coding cooperation in the SNR is greater than 12dB, with a performance gain of about 3dB; assumed the same as the simulation conditions the case of the improved coding collaborative program about the gain of 6.3dB.
