Abstract

Urban and rural areas are two basic components of the urban and rural territorial system, along with China's rapid economic development and urbanization, is in a stage of rapid development, but relative to the rapid development of the town, the development of rural areas lagging behind. Urban and rural economic and social development is coordinated directly affect the stability of the country, affect the realization of this goal of building a moderately prosperous society in China. With the construction of the Central Plains Economic Zone rose to national strategic level, Zhengzhou City, the comprehensive economic strength to achieve development by leaps and bounds, but as the center of the city of the Central Plains Economic Zone, Zhengzhou City, the dominant position is not strong enough to achieve the comprehensive development of Zhengzhou City urban and rural economic and social development is imperative. In this paper, Zhengzhou coordinated development of urban and rural lines, combing the research status and theoretical basis of coordinated urban and rural development, on the basis of a clear mechanism of urban and rural geographical evolution of the system, with the evolution of thinking of the modern system of systems, the establishment of urban-rural dual system of non- linear dynamics model to analyze the evolution of the overall status of the territorial system in urban and rural areas. The study found that: Zhengzhou City, urban and rural geographic system is entering a period of accelerated growth, the spillover effects of urban influence, rural activities in space relative contraction to strengthen coordination degrees, but the entire urban and rural geographical expansion of the system is also a state of disorder. By analysis of the factors affecting the coordinated development of urban and rural: the labor factor mobility between urban and rural areas to strengthen, in the proportion of primary industry labor decreases, the increase in the proportion of the labor force engaged in the secondary and tertiary industries; urban fixed investment and investment in fixed assets, Zhengzhou City basically consistent with the growth rate of the total, but not obviously the rural fixed investment changes, the Zhengzhou municipal urban fixed asset investment is much higher than in rural areas; life of of Zhengzhou urban and rural residents reached affluent level, but urban and rural residents income and consumption levels there is a huge gap between the consumption gap between urban and rural residents, the income gap between urban and rural residents, \Finally, the factors affecting Zhengzhou City, coordinated urban and rural development, coordinated urban and rural development mechanism and put forward a number of measures to promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas: speed up the urbanization of Zhengzhou City to play the leading role of the urban core; accelerate new rural modernization of agriculture, and promote the comprehensive development of the rural economy; implementation of urban and rural compact, network development; accelerate the construction of ecological environment and achieve sustainable development; government-led promotion of institutional innovation and institutional reform.
