Due to the changing needs of society , the improvement of the design standards , construction error , the change of use of the environment , natural disasters ( storms, fires , earthquakes) accidental damage and so the original structural design changes , a lot of buildings and bridges need a certain degree of repair and reinforcement to continue in service . In recent years, with the improvement of the level of science and technology and the emergence of new materials , reinforcement technology has been rapid development . STICKING steel reinforcement and paste CFRP reinforcement technology is now the most popular method of reinforcement , but they have some inadequacies in improving the structural performance of the force and the actual use . In order to make better use of materials , based on the complementary nature of the two , consider the use of CFRP and steel plate reinforced composite reinforced concrete structure , theoretical analysis and research . Flexural performance of composite reinforcement Beams nonlinear analysis and comparative study found that the composite reinforcement beam performance is significantly better than using a single material (CFRP or steel) reinforced beams . According reinforced concrete structural finite element analysis theory and the solution of the nonlinear equations and the processing unit after cracking and yielding . Reasonable choice based on knowledge of the mechanical characteristics of the structure and the finite element method , the different units and the corresponding material constitutive relations , established in line with the actual CFRP and steel plate composite reinforcement beam ANSYS finite element model . On this basis , through six Charpy finite element nonlinear analysis and comparison . Failure characteristics of composite reinforcement beams in the case of different CFRP consumption , steel consumption of the hysteresis curve , ductility factor, skeleton curve , stiffness degradation and strain changes do further research , and finite element analysis results with the corresponding the experimental data were compared . Studies have shown that the finite element analysis is capable of simulating the mechanical properties of composite reinforcement beams , finite element analysis results with the experimental data or less . CFRP and steel the composite reinforcement beams can effectively improve the beam ultimate bearing capacity , ductility and deformation capacity , stiffness degradation mitigation to improve the seismic performance of reinforced concrete beams .
