Abstract


Port and shipping industry is the basic industry of the national economy , more and more managers and investors of all ages and attention. Until the end of 2007 , port and shipping industry has been in a period of rapid development , its profitability is much higher than other sectors . However, the impact of the financial crisis , in 2008 and 2009 port and shipping industry is rapidly falling rock bottom became the A-share market, the largest decline of the plate, especially China Ocean become the A-share market's biggest losses king. With the state of the port and shipping industry to stimulate and support the improvement of the economic situation at home and abroad , China's port and shipping industry to re-enter a new stage of development . But in the port and shipping industry over-expansion , shrinking market situation and capacity decreased backdrop , port and shipping industry in the future development of managers and investors are particularly urgent attention. As China's capital market started late , investors have long rely solely on published financial statements of listed companies to understand the real situation of the company , but the published financial statements of listed companies financial information included in a lot of investors want financial information from a number of fast and accurate grasp of the company's financial condition, is a very difficult thing . As best reflects the operations and profitability of the company 's earnings per share is a measure of performance of listed companies a comprehensive index , 80% of investors and institutions is the use of listed companies reported earnings per share for the financial statements to make investment and decision-making the . In this paper, the gray system \the average earnings per share , the average earnings per share of shipping , Shanghai and China COSCO 's earnings per share were analyzed by using the gray prediction system and the metabolic system focus on its earnings per share over the next five years the situation prediction, in order to be able to investors , creditors and business owners a more comprehensive understanding of the port and shipping industry in the future development trend of investors to invest in port and shipping industry so as to provide analysis and guidance.
