Structural vibration control is a new type of cushioning technology , the smart piezoelectric friction damper earthquake under the control of the structure is an effective method . Smart piezoelectric friction damper is based on the works of the friction damper and a piezoelectric actuator inverse piezoelectric effect , combined with the requirements of the structural damping , friction damper can be changed in real time , allowing the seismic response of structures real-time control , to improve the energy dissipation capacity of the friction damper with intelligent features . Home and abroad have some experts experimental and theoretical study of the structural vibration control based on a smart piezoelectric friction damper , also yielded some results , but there are still some problems in the application of engineering practice , need to further improve and resolved. Earthquake response Benchmark model based on a smart piezoelectric friction damper semi-active control system comparison , mainly reflected in the following aspects : First , according to the inverse piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric ceramics and the combination of passive friction damper the characteristics of the device , designed a new type of smart piezoelectric friction damper analysis damping force model , and draw out its restoring force curve . Second , calculate the difference between the results due to the randomness of earthquakes and seismic waves , seismic waves reasonable choice for dynamic analysis and calculation is to ensure that the important issues of the reliability of the calculations , so to choose a reasonable seismic records . Finally, using MATLAB programming , structural seismic response under different control modes to set the the smart piezoelectric friction damper Benchmark model simulation analysis , and control effects were compared . Through the analysis and comparison of the four semi- active control algorithm , and bound the Hrovat optimal control algorithm achieved relatively good seismic control , displacement and speed of the damping rate of about 35% , the damping rate of acceleration up to 25 percent. In addition, to further discuss the gauge Hrovat optimal control , semi - active optimal control design and in relation to the robustness of the control system of structural damping and stiffness uncertainty analysis .
