Abstract


The papers to the smart grid current heating devices for cable , transformer winding temperature , stress measurement monitoring background mainly discusses fiber grating temperature sensors , Brillouin Optical Time Domain Reflectometer temperature , stress distributed sensors , cloth Brillouin optical time domain analyzer temperature , stress distributed sensor three fiber-optic sensing system . Papers each chapter details a range of applications , the working principle of the sensor , as well as the advantages and disadvantages , and the invention patent or utility model system design improvements of the existing system to a more simple structure , better cost-effective or superior performance . Its feasibility is verified by experiments . In order to obtain a better spatial resolution and temperature , stress resolution , the paper design a novel optical fiber sensing system based on the Brillouin optical time domain analysis instrument . Linewidth of the laser output light and, in view of the special requirements of the system on the light source , the design based microring external cavity narrow linewidth distributed feedback semiconductor laser with weak coupling and control loss lt; 100kHz, and by simulation experiments were performed to verify the design structure can reach the output of the narrow linewidth of about 88kHz . Further, in order to make the light source system has a wide tunable wavelength range , it is possible to simultaneously achieve a wide range of wavelengths between coarse in determining the wavelength about the characteristics of the fine adjustment , the paper further design a two micro-ring array external cavity structure , the use of micro-ring \Finally, based on micro- ring light source device monolithically integrated design , the use of InP as a substrate material , and integrated two narrow linewidth DFB laser and optical delay line can be used as a scheme to reduce the the commercial BOTDA system cost .
