November 2001 , China formally joined the WTO , foreign trade and investment into the period of rapid growth . Electricity enterprises to actively respond to the Chinese government to \Total electricity on the international project contracting , China is in the design, procurement advantages exist , but due to International Power EPC Project , there are many uncertain factors , especially in foreign countries are quite different construction management , coupled with China's relevant systems and electricity engineering firms defects and weaknesses , the current International Power EPC project risk management is weak , making China's electric power companies in the international power engineering project implementation faces enormous risks and challenges. Based on this, the spirit of theoretical, practical , innovation, make up , practical principles to relevant national policies and international common practice as a guide to management theories as the basis for specific real cases as the basis to International Power EPC works to circumvent the risks associated with the fundamental purpose to build a thesis for the content frame. This paper summarizes the risk on the basis of general contracting works mainly on international risk characteristics , manifestations and management strategies were analyzed. Case against international general contractor , make full use of literature, AHP, comparative research methods , analysis of major project risk distribution , find the main risks of particular concern risk factors , use of risk avoidance, risk transfer , risk retention , risk self-help and other methods to power EPC projects in the international political, social , economic, natural environment and other aspects of the contract to manage the risk factors , combined with the actual situation of some restricted view . This paper seeks to simple language and workable method of analysis as a starting point , reaching theory to guide practice , theory and practice of combining the purpose of specific risk management of international projects to provide a processing method for EPC projects in international power domestic enterprises to provide some references , and enhancing our overall strength power engineering enterprises .
