Abstract


Objective: To explore with non- absorbable suture anchor repair lateral collateral ligament knee feasibility of surgical techniques and clinical efficacy analysis . MATERIALS AND METHODS : Material from the Johnson-Johnson ( Johnson \u0026 Johnson China Medical Devices Co., Ltd. ) provides Depuy Mitek titanium suture anchors and anchor implanted with matching disposable manual operator . Methods A retrospective analysis from October 2008 to October 2010 during Huazhong University of Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College Application anchor repair 18 cases of knee medial and lateral collateral ligament injury with clinical data. Among them, 10 males and 8 females ; aged 20 to 45 years, mean 31.7 years old. According to the specific circumstances of time and postoperative patients to develop individualized functional exercise. The time of the injury and surgery , surgical process takes , anchors fixed position and intraoperative and postoperative complications were analyzed , using the International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) and the Lysholm knee scoring criteria scoring system restore knee function to assess the situation , the statistical analysis was performed using Wilcoxon analysis . Results: The mean follow-up time 16.6 months, all patients were followed up , IKDC score for the D grade , Lysholm knee score total score of 94 ( 79 to 100 ) . No ligament rupture again . The average operation time 35.5min, no intraoperative iatrogenic important blood vessels, nerves , etc., and other important soft tissue damage . 18 patients were implanted anchor 21 ( including three cases of implant two , male and 2 female one ) , the location were good. Lateral ligament recovery : excellent in 13 cases, good in 5 cases , no difference . Follow-up of patients with satisfactory functional recovery of the knee joint , X-ray examination showed no anchor displacement. Conclusion: with non- absorbable suture anchor system for treatment of medial and lateral collateral ligament injury surgery is simple, fixed firmly , satisfactory results , low complication , is a more reliable and effective method of treatment.
