Abstract

Automobile exhaust composition contains various greenhouse gases , and a variety of toxic gases , such as: hydrocarbons (HC), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and soot (PM) is one of the main sources . PM is the main component of which is carbon , but because of the above adsorption of soluble organics, heavy metals and a variety of carcinogens , so after inhalation serious health risk . This article is mainly engaged in diesel exhaust catalytic conversion of the PM . Currently the best exhaust catalytic effect of platinum , rhodium, palladium and other precious metal catalysts. However , precious metals are expensive. Therefore , the development of high catalytic activity of the non- noble metal oxide substituted significant. This article was prepared nanoscale catalysts LaMnO3 perovskite structure was investigated with low valence element partially replace La element on the catalyst performance. By XRD, SEM, BET , etc. The samples were characterized. Through the process temperature oxidation (TPO) catalytic activity of the catalysts were tested. Test results show that the structure of the PM oxidation catalyst is preferably activated , the incorporation of doping elements can improve the catalytic activity. PM prepared samples can be reduced ignition temperature about 150 ℃ .
