With China's rapid economic development , people's living standards continue to improve , demand for cars is increasing , according to statistics , in 2010 China 's total car sales reached 18 million . But the growing importance of the pollution problems caused by the energy crisis and cars , electric vehicles will be the trend of the future to replace petroleum products to fuel cars . Relying on the cooperation of Wuhan University of Technology School of Automotive Engineering and R \u0026 D Centre of goods of a company project, using existing mature technology platform of mini-cars , pure electric mini car designed based on this platform . This paper first introduces the development of electric vehicles at home and abroad , as well as an overview of the theory of finite element . Re- draw the miniature cars rear floor design layout , and bring it into conformity with the requirements of the use of electric vehicles . Motor way before the cabin layout has been redesigned and powertrain bracket , the use of CATIA software to create a data model . Basic theory expounded topology optimization and modal analysis . Then the simplified car floors and powertrain bracket using HyperMesh software meshing , and finally the use of HyperWorks software for mechanical properties , including topology optimization , strength analysis , modal analysis . Through analysis and calculation powertrain bracket weight has been reduced, to the floor bracket structural strength to meet the requirements .
