Abstract


Summary: intersection traffic situation directly affect the urban transport system as a whole, in pedestrian violations into the public spotlight, and seriously affect the urban transport system run on the basis of analysis of the causes of the pedestrian violations explore pedestrian irregularities occurred mechanism of improvement traffic level of significance. By pedestrian violations segmentation and the introduction of external perception, improved theory of planned behavior, the theory of planned behavior model through different path proposed several hypotheses. Design a questionnaire to do preliminary research and exploratory factor analysis, and then based on the survey data, the formation of the final questionnaire pedestrian crossing behavior influence factors. Through the final questionnaire data to validate the hypothesis model, the theory of planned behavior model analysis improvements for pedestrian violations, various considerations and behavior path coefficients and model calculations to explain the various irregularities. Finally, the model was validated by two groups of adults and adolescents. The results show that the improved theory of planned behavior model can well explain the pedestrian violations. Path coefficient analysis, subjective norms violation intentions explain low and negative correlation between the two, the strengthening of subjective norm to reduce pedestrian violation intentions, but weak influence of subjective norms that social pressure on pedestrian violations intention little effect; pedestrian attitudes and cognitive behavioral control of their violations intention to explain quite pedestrian violations will bring the benefits of, or witnesses will increase their confidence in the irregularities, the pedestrians in both cases violations, it is easy to explain the pedestrian herd violations and the Group psychological. Two ages travelers comparative analysis, adult and adolescent attitude towards young people a greater impact would be more effective compared to the education of young adults to reduce violations; contrast to obtain external perception be selected adolescents and adults have the opposite effect, and easy to follow the example of the violation of the people around teenagers, adult foreign perception accident experience more sensitive, will inhibit their own violations, teenagers will be more in the process of growing trend with increasing age experience in control of their own violations.
