Transport basic needs and prerequisites for social and economic development, expanding international economic and trade cooperation and personnel exchanges have important economic, social and political significance. Transportation network together constitute a transportation lines, transportation sites, transport equipment and related facilities, direct or indirect impact on economy and efficiency, covering almost the entire country's economic, social, cultural, defense and other important areas. Therefore, the study are of great significance to guide transportation network planning, construction, management and operation of all aspects of the development of the transport network. The transportation network research was mainly focused on graph theory, fractal theory, the main focus on the spatial organization of the transport network optimization, economic efficiency, the lack of overall study from the entire space on the network. The transportation network is an integrated, dynamic, open complex system, requires the use of management science, information technology, control theory, economics and other disciplines to study to study, not from a single transportation network. Complex network theory to the complexity of the transportation network provides an important idea, but the complexity of the transportation network research is still at a less mature stage. In this paper, the use of complex network theory to study the Bohai Sea region's transportation network, contribute to the overall guidance formation, construction and management of the transport network.
