Abstract


Low-density parity-check code is a performance close to the Shannon limit is a good code , the code length is larger than its decoding performance can even Turbo codes . Currently, binary LDPC code encoding technology is relatively mature , and has been applied in many fields , and binary LDPC codes in the short code also showed excellent decoding performance, but a larger decoding complexity become a bottleneck restricting its development . Therefore, how to construct has a lower coding complexity ary LDPC code has become one of the hotspots . This article is a binary LDPC Codes Construction method is used. First, from the theoretical analysis of the structure of several commonly used methods in the study of finite geometry method , based on the model by means of an algorithm based on cage constructed with large girth binary parity check matrix . This algorithm can be relatively low coding complexity case constructed binary LDPC code performance . Then we in this binary LDPC code parity check matrix as the base array, through the primitive polynomial based stochastic algorithm to construct LDPC code from the binary fields will expand to multi-band domain , so that we can lower the encoding complexity to construct a multi- ary LDPC code , and finally we come through simulation study this binary LDPC code decoding performance. Simulation results show that in the binary field, the code length and the rate specified circumstances , the proposed cage model construction algorithm on the coding complexity is much lower than the PEG randomly constructed algorithms, can be constructed with greater circumference length of the LDPC code , and the decoding performance is slightly improved . In this binary LDPC codes constructed on the basis of binary LDPC codes in the low SNR region despite the decoding performance, and does not reflect the difference , but it 's faster convergence evident in the high SNR region a better decoding performance , and because of this low -ary LDPC code encoding complexity , so it has good application prospects .
