Abstract


Kayer article was first published in 1947, proposed that the primary ureteral urothelial carcinoma is a very low incidence of tumors. According to the treatment guidelines of the American Urological statistics the primary ureteral urothelial carcinoma urothelial tumors about 1.2%. China's ureter cancer incidence was significantly higher than abroad. In 2001, Zhong Xu and other epithelial tumors of the urinary and reproductive system of the past 55 years to the analysis results ureteral transitional cell carcinoma accounts for about 3.7%. Domestic articles show clear increasing trend in recent years of ureteral cancer incidence. The literature on epithelial cells to mesenchymal transition changes in epithelial tumor cells to the surrounding invasion and distant metastasis has an extremely close relationship, is a fundamental process of biological cells in embryogenesis. MET (qualitative) epithelial cells during the development of a variety of epithelial tumors reported in a variety of literature plays promote tumor development transfer, epithelial to mesenchymal transition get stromal cell characteristics is lost. Related studies show that the transcription factor Snail through the area with the KISS-1 promoter region down the KISS-1 expression and induce epithelial cells - mesenchymal transition occurred. In this study, using the SP immunohistochemistry assay Snail and KISS-1 expression in primary ureteral cancer and normal ureteral epithelial cells, the purpose of this indicator in primary ureteral cancer invasion to the surrounding tissue, to distant metastasis Prognostic relevance. In this study, using immunohistochemical methods to detect Snail in primary ureteral carcinoma and normal ureteral urothelial cells and KISS-1 protein expression. Concluded Snail in the ureteral urothelial cell carcinoma with normal ureteral urothelial cells compared to the former were significantly higher, KISS-1 positive expression was significantly lower than that in normal ureteral epithelial cells. This shows that the Snail protein primary ureteral cancer development, local invasion and distant metastasis-promoting factor. Primary ureteral cancer tissue compared poorly differentiated primary ureteral cancer tissue differentiation in high school of Snail expression was significantly elevated, and can be seen from the experimental high Snail expression and tumor invasion to the surrounding tissue and far at the transfer of relevant, Snail is a reflection of the indicators of tumor cells to the surrounding tissue invasion and distant metastasis.
