Abstract

Objective: To study the role of retinoic acid on the treatment of precancerous lesions and Rb, C-erbB-2 gene expression influence so as to explore its therapeutic value and the possible mechanism of reverse precancerous lesions, early diagnosis and early treatment for gastric cancer theoretical basis. Method: pathologically confirmed a total of 80 cases of dysplasia and intestinal metaplasia specimens obtained by endoscopy were randomly divided into a treatment group of 50 patients and a control group of 30 patients. Treatment group medication for retinoic acid, omeprazole and sucralfate; control group medication omeprazole and sucralfate. The endoscopy biopsy after three months of treatment, and pathological examination again. During pathological assessment, using immunohistochemical SP method detected before and after treatment, Rb, C-erbB-2 gene expression. Results: After retinoic acid treatment of gastric epithelial dysplasia and intestinal metaplasia significantly improved the pathological changes in the total effective rate of 62.00%, 36.67% better than the control group. Between the two groups P lt; 0.05, significant difference, retinoic acid treatment of gastric precancerous lesions. Gastric precancerous lesions after retinoic acid treatment Rb gene positive expression rate was 96.00%, 76.00% higher than before treatment, after treatment, C-erbB-2 positive expression rate of 8.00%, 34.00% before treatment to reduce Whether it is itself compare before and after treatment, or after treatment compared with the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P lt; 0.05). After treatment, the expression of Rb strength is stronger than the control group, C-erbB-2 expression strength is weaker than the control group, the difference was significant (P lt; 0.05). Retinoic acid Rb, C-erbB-2 gene expression have a significant impact. Retinoic acid treatment, the overall trend performance: With the improvement of precancerous lesions, Rb gene expression intensity, C-erbB-2 gene expression weakening. A small number of patients showed a headache, dry lips, abdominal discomfort disappeared after symptomatic treatment. Conclusion: retinoic acid good treatment of precancerous lesions, can contribute to the reversal of gastric precancerous lesions, and can increase the expression of the gastric mucosa tumor suppressor genes Rb and reduce gastric oncogene C-erbB-2 expression. Prompted one of the mechanisms of retinoic acid treatment of precancerous lesions may Rb gene expression and downregulation of C-erbB-2 gene expression by upregulating to complete. Retinoic acid treatment of gastric precancerous lesions is safe, a small number of patients may experience headaches, dry lips, abdominal discomfort, symptomatic treatment can be alleviated. Detected in the course of treatment of liver and kidney function, blood and other indicators are normal, indicating that retinoic acid is a safe and effective drug for the treatment of gastric precancerous lesions.
